Phoebe came to Maclynn in her late forties, newly navigating life after divorce and balancing a full life just outside of London with her two young children. Warm, thoughtful, and grounded, she was ready to find a meaningful connection, but after time away from dating, she wasn’t entirely sure what the right partner would look like for this next chapter.

We began with an in-depth, in-person consultation, taking the time to truly understand Phoebe, her values, her lifestyle, and what she wanted her future to feel like. Rather than rushing into introductions, we focused on building clarity, helping her articulate what mattered most in a partner and relationship.

Following this, we curated a selection of potential matches from our network. Phoebe was impressed by how aligned these introductions felt, and she approached each date with openness. While she enjoyed her initial experiences, something was still missing.

Using these early dates as valuable insight, we refined the search further, paying close attention to the qualities that resonated most with her. It was then that we introduced Tom. In his mid-fifties, Tom is an intelligent and engaging individual with a strong academic background and a deep appreciation for culture and conversation. From the outset, it was clear that he and Phoebe shared a natural compatibility, both intellectually and in the way they approached life.

Their first date exceeded expectations. Phoebe called shortly after, full of excitement, sharing how effortlessly the conversation flowed and how quickly the time had passed. What followed was a series of dates where their connection continued to blossom, each meeting reinforcing the sense that this was something special.

Today, a year on, Phoebe and Tom are in a happy and committed relationship. She describes feeling “like a giddy teenager again,” and now shares snapshots of their travels and adventures together.
