On January 13th 2015 we celebrated our fourth ‘Meet the Introducers’ event, where we invited members, old and new, to come along and meet the Maclynn Matchmaking team at the Belgraves Hotel, London. These events present the perfect opportunity combined with the perfectly relaxed ambiance to really get to know one another, which is crucial when it comes to making those selective and magical introductions.
Setting is always an essential ingredient for Maclynn, and at last week’s event 50 Maclynn guests met 7 members of Maclynn’s London team at Belgraves, a luxury hotel which has been stylishly described as an ‘oasis of hip Manhattan cool in the heart of elegant Belgravia‘. We were promised that it would be ‘the perfect setting for our mid-winter soiree in front of the stylish glass fronted fire’. Nostradamus could not have had greater foresight, for so it proved.
We found ourselves in a sumptuous room full of attractive men and women, where we were beautifully looked after by Belgraves’ expert staff, who served exquisite wines (and an elegant elderflower and lemonade cocktail for the January detoxers) and generous amuse-bouches. The latter were so appetising that even us ladies were unable to hold back – the prawn tempura on papaya salads and little truffle and cheese tartlets were simply too good to resist.
The evening as a whole worked a treat and so many people left saying how much they’d enjoyed themselves, some of them with that special glint in their eye… Here’s to a fantastic Maclynn 2015! Thanks again to everyone at the Belgraves London.
