Last night, Maclynn and Rendezvous welcomed guests to The Sloane Club for an evening that did precisely that, gathering like-minded people in one of London’s most striking settings.
A Setting Designed for Connection
Nestled in the heart of Chelsea, The Sloane Club carries a storied history. Founded in 1922 as a pioneering refuge for women returning from the First World War, it has spent more than a century evolving while preserving its founding spirit of community and connection. Following its most extensive renovation to date, the club has stepped into a new chapter, weaving its rich heritage together with beautifully conceived contemporary spaces designed to draw people in to gather, unwind and connect.
Our event unfolded in LILA, the club’s elegant courtyard restaurant. With its retractable glass roof thrown open to the summer evening, guests savoured cocktails and delicious canapés beneath the London sky, accompanied by music. The atmosphere was light, vibrant and effortlessly convivial, providing the perfect backdrop for unhurried conversation.
More Than Just a Venue
Among the things we cherish most about hosting events across London is the chance to introduce our members to places they might never otherwise encounter. Every venue carries its own character, each lending a distinct backdrop to connection.

I'd walked past The Sloane Club a hundred times and never once been inside. I loved trying one of these events out for the first time. It was the sort of evening where you stop watching the door and just enjoy where you are.
