In 2011, Rachel took a leap of faith. Following a series of serendipitous events, she founded Vida (now known as Maclynn) in London and never looked back. Rachel is a Chartered Member and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology, and is a certified Dating and Relationship Coach. Her own values around integrity, delivering the highest standards, inclusion, and self-empowerment are at the core of Maclynn’s unique matchmaking model. Described by clients as calm, compassionate, warm and wise, she continues to be fully immersed in the business, working with a select number of VIP clients. In recent years, Rachel’s personal life has focused on raising her two sons with her husband, Jamie. Rachel has also achieved her personal goals of running the New York Marathon and reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro.

With the wisdom of a ninety-year-old, and the capacity to make things happen at monumental speed, Mia is perfectly placed to keep the inner workings of Maclynn running like clockwork, while driving our international expansion, and all the while working closely with the global team to ensure all our clients receive an exemplary service. Mia Wealthall is dual British/Maltese nationality, bi-lingual and was raised between the UK, the island of Malta and the Middle East. With a background in luxury hospitality and marketing, Mia has worked with high profile clients from across the globe.

After over 15 years in the media industry, Tory discovered that her true passion lay not in the stories being told, but in the people sharing them. This shift led her to a career dedicated to understanding, supporting, and championing meaningful human connection.

Tory joined Maclynn in 2017 and is now the company’s Global Head of Membership. She is a certified Dating and Relationship Coach and, having spoken with thousands of single individuals worldwide, has developed a deep understanding of modern dating, relationships, and what people are truly seeking in a partner.

Born and raised in London, Miranda received her degree in the History of Art from the University of Leeds. With an extensive background in luxury hospitality, she has collaborated with some of the top venues in London. Her passion and natural expertise for helping people make Miranda an ideal Membership Manager for our London Office.

Joanna is a Matchmaking Director in the London office. She is tri-lingual and has lived in Poland, France and Germany before settling in London. With a degree in Hospitality Management, Joanna spent ten years managing high-end restaurants, learning the importance of building quality relationships and adhering to best practice management.

Having joined Maclynn in July 2013, Joanna delivers matchmaking to clients located in London, Europe and Asia. She is a certified Dating and Relationship Coach, and her focus on quality, together with her professional and personable approach, makes her highly valued amongst the Maclynn team and clients alike.

Lynsey is the Director of Client Services at Maclynn’s London office. She was born and raised in Scotland, graduating from The University of Aberdeen with an MA in Psychology in 2009.  She is a member of The BPS (The British Psychological Society).

For just over a decade, Lynsey worked in social research within either an academic or non profit context. Throughout her career, her main drive and passion has been working with people and gaining an understanding of what drives them.  This, along with her friendly and open nature, makes Lynsey a natural Matchmaker. Lynsey is based in the London office and primarily works with London and European-based clients.

Lydia is a Matchmaking Director at Maclynn, known for her empathetic and global perspective in fostering meaningful connections. Having grown up across different countries, she cultivated a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and the universal pursuit of love and companionship.

With over a decade of experience in the dating industry, including ten dedicated years as a matchmaker, Lydia specialises in working with clients in the UK and internationally. She is a certified Dating and Relationship Coach, and her romantic nature and genuine passion for understanding her clients’ unique aspirations drive her to craft bespoke matches that truly resonate with their values and dreams.

Lydia’s personable approach, combined with her refined expertise, has made her a valued member of the Maclynn team and a trusted guide to her clients worldwide. Her ability to deliver tailored introductions ensures every client embarks on a journey towards their ideal partnership with confidence and ease.

Sarah Helen is a Matchmaking Director at Maclynn’s London office. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Health Psychology. After a successful career in stockbroking, fashion retail, and luxury goods, working with high-profile clients and customers across the globe, Sarah Helen went on to establish her own wellness business. She has extensive experience coaching individuals to better understand themselves and empowering them to take ownership of their psychological wellbeing. Using a cognitive behavioural approach, she has guided and supported Maclynn clients with the psychological tools needed to date successfully.

Sarah Helen has two years’ doctoral experience, is a member of the British Psychological Society, and is a certified Dating and Relationship Coach. Her positive outlook, friendly approach and deep knowledge of psychology mean she is well positioned to give clients the best possible guidance as they search for their ultimate partners.

Abby is a Matchmaking Director at Maclynn’s London office. Her fascination with people’s personal stories, alongside her passion for working closely with people, led her to pursue a degree and postgraduate qualification in Photojournalism before subsequently establishing her own international photographers’ agency.

Realising her innate desire to help people achieve their professional and personal ambitions, Abby transitioned into professional coaching and matchmaking. She has been matchmaking clients in London and internationally since 2011 and coaching professionally since 2015. Abby is also a certified Dating and Relationship Coach.

Abby is a true advocate of the matchmaking process and is a success story herself, having met her husband on a blind date. Together with their two children, they reside in West London.

Frankie is known among her clients for her down-to-earth, empathetic and friendly demeanour. She achieved a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology and has conducted research into the impact of attachment styles on the longevity and health of romantic relationships. Frankie is a member of The BPS, The British Psychological Society, and is a certified Dating and Relationship Coach.

Frankie joined Maclynn in January 2018 as Maclynn’s Open Membership Manager. She quickly established herself as an integral part of the team’s structure. Frankie is now a full-time Senior Matchmaker in Maclynn’s London office and thrives on getting to know her clients individually. Using her psychological expertise, Frankie is passionate about understanding a client’s hopes and aspirations, the characteristics they are seeking in a spouse, and finding them their ultimate life partner.

Ozora is a Senior Matchmaker whose empathetic and inclusive approach is deeply shaped by her German-Sri Lankan heritage and upbringing in Germany and the UK. Her academic pursuits brought her to London, where she spent over a decade excelling in client-facing roles within the luxury fashion industry. This experience not only honed her expertise in building relationships but also deepened her passion for understanding people. This natural progression led her to her true calling: matchmaking.

With professional experience spanning online dating platforms and bespoke matchmaking, Ozora possesses a nuanced understanding of the modern dating landscape. She is a certified Dating and Relationship Coach, and her keen ability to navigate the complexities of contemporary relationships enables her to guide clients with insight and compassion, helping to create authentic and lasting connections.

Her early curiosity about human stories led her to study journalism at university, which naturally evolved into a career in communications, marketing, and relationship-building.

Since joining Maclynn in 2015, Annika managed marketing for the company’s international offices for several years before stepping into her current role as Head of Partnerships. A passionate connector, she thrives on building authentic, long-term relationships with our partners and international consultants—an essential part of supporting our clients on their journey to find love.

Born in Ukraine, educated in France and the UK and currently residing in France, Alexa has a diversified international background and is very much a linguist, with fluency in English, French and Russian and a rudimentary understanding of Spanish and Ukrainian. This lifestyle has also given her a broad understanding of differentiating cultures, attitudes and perspectives and is very much a people’s person.

Alexa has a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Organisational Psychology and Psychiatry from King’s College London. Her education has developed her comprehension and study of human behaviour, social constructs and the evolutionary underpinnings of romantic behaviour. Alexa now uses her knowledge and experience facilitating the Maclynn team as Operations Manager. Outside of Maclynn, Alexa is also passionately involved in her family-run non-profit, which helps orphans in Ukraine.

Barbara is the host behind every Rendezvous event, bringing people together with instinct, elegance, and ease. Known for discovering sophisticated venues and curating beautifully considered experiences, she has a natural gift for introducing fascinating people.

An experienced entrepreneur and strategic connector with over 25 years of building, scaling, and exiting ventures across entertainment, fashion, finance, and technology, she co-founded Fabric, the London club that defined a generation, and later launched New York–based lingerie label Spoylt, attracting an enviable A-list clientele.

Over the past decade, her focus has centred on investor and community engagement, working closely with UHNW individuals, family offices, and private investors to design high-touch events and forge meaningful partnerships.

Since taking the helm of Rendezvous in 2014, she has shaped it into a discreet, thoughtfully curated space for connection, bringing energy, emotional intelligence, and a finely tuned instinct for how people and businesses connect.

Dr Felicity Lynagh is a Psychology Consultant in the London office.She graduated with a doctorate in counselling psychology* in 2013 and has worked with clients helping them across a wide range of areas. Felicity has worked closely with Maclynn’s members since 2019, applying techniques including mindfulness, anxiety management and coaching to help them achieve their relationship goals through one-on-one sessions and masterclasses. She also works closely with Maclynn’s leadership team to support the growing expertise of Maclynn’s matchmakers through internal training programmes and workshops on relationship psychology topics. In addition to her role at Maclynn, Felicity runs a private practice where she applies a range of therapeutic interventions. Felicity exudes warmth and has a natural ability at making her clients feel listened to and confident about achieving their goals.

Los Angeles

Sarah Powell is our Managing Partner at the California office. She is a native Californian and has also lived internationally in both Australia and the UK. She obtained a Baccalaureate in Biological Sciences and credentials in Applied Behavioral Analysis, which has provided her with a psychology-driven approach to matchmaking. Sarah previously founded her own date coaching business and has years of headhunting experience, thus is well versed in pinpointing compatible couplings. Sarah finds matchmaking gives her great purpose- a life dedicated to cultivating love and connection.

Victoria is a Membership Matchmaker at Maclynn, based in Boston, Massachusetts. With a background in luxury property management, architecture, and marketing, she has developed a deep appreciation for the nuances of human connection and behaviour. Her diverse professional experience sparked a passion for understanding what brings people together in meaningful ways.

Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, Victoria blends strategic thinking with empathy and psychological insight, offering a thoughtful, human-centered approach to matchmaking. Her work at Maclynn reflects her commitment to fostering authentic, lasting relationships through a blend of science, intuition, and heart.

Originally from Virginia, USA, Grace lived along the East Coast before settling in California for her undergraduate studies. She then spent five years in London, working as a Matchmaker in our UK office, before returning to the U.S. to take on her current role as Membership Manager.

Grace holds a First-Class Honours degree in Psychology and a Master of Science in Psychology. Her passions lie in understanding attachment styles, communication in relationships, and the deeper dynamics between romantic partners. With a strong academic foundation and first-hand matchmaking experience, Grace brings empathy, insight, and warmth to every client interaction.
