The team at the Maclynn Consultancy are completely focused on delivering a professional and intelligent approach to matchmaking. It’s why we are championing and supporting proper training and recognition to ensure our clients know their love life and relationship opportunities are in good hands. October saw iDate, the world’s largest dating industry conference take place in London. Amongst the hundreds of internet dating and professional matchmaking experts attending, I was delighted to be presenting as a panelist in a session that addressed the need for collaboration in offline dating. The feedback from other industry professionals was extremely positive and can only help create more effectiveness and efficiency in the industry.

It was a busy month, as it was also when the Matchmaking Institute Certificate Program took place in London. The MMI was co-founded by Lisa Clampitt in 2003 to set a code of ethics and strict quality standards in the professional matchmaking industry. It is the first institute offering a Professional Matchmaking Start-Up Kit and providing matchmakers with a network of peers & support. Matchmakers from around the world travelled to London to train from as far afield as Japan and Switzerland. I was once again delighted to have Maclynn’s professionalism recognised by being asked to facilitate a session on psychological profiling. The Maclynn approach to profiling is a vital component of our success in matching our clients. It was an honour to have the opportunity to share and collaborate with colleagues from around the world who are focusing on accrediting their professional status in the business.

This month sees the return of the highly anticipated UK Dating Awards 2015. The event taking place on November 26th in London, recognises and celebrates excellence in the dating and professional matchmaking industry. The Maclynn team are delighted to be attending again this year and we look forward to catching up with our industry friends.

The recognition of Maclynn’s professional matchmaking expertise continued in October with a feature in the Evening Standard in which I had the opportunity to speak out for careful regulation of this growing industry. To read the article in full click here.
